OFFRAMP Warranty Policy
Warranty Built for the Road
At OFFRAMP, we believe every part should be built to handle real roads, real installs, and real miles. Every OFFRAMP product is inspected before it leaves our facility and checked again before shipment to help ensure it meets our quality standards.
If your OFFRAMP product has a defect in materials or workmanship under normal use, we will review the issue and provide support under the terms of this Warranty Policy.
1. Warranty Period
Unless otherwise stated on the product page, order details, or specific product documentation, OFFRAMP-branded parts are generally covered by a 1-year limited warranty from the original date of purchase.
Certain special products, selected third-party products, partner-brand products, or specific product categories may carry a different warranty period, such as a 90-day warranty, lifetime warranty, or the original manufacturer’s warranty. The applicable warranty will be based on the product page, order details, or the policy of the original brand.
A valid proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims. This may include an order number, invoice, receipt, or other documentation showing the purchase source and purchase date.
2. What This Warranty Covers
The OFFRAMP limited warranty generally covers the following:
- Defects in materials under normal use;
- Defects in workmanship under normal use;
- Issues confirmed by the OFFRAMP technical team to be caused by the product itself;
- Products that have not been incorrectly installed, modified without authorization, abused, misused, damaged in an accident, or used under abnormal conditions.
If the issue is confirmed to be covered under warranty, OFFRAMP may, at its discretion, repair the product, replace the product, provide an alternative solution, or offer another reasonable form of support. The final resolution will depend on the product condition, type of defect, inventory availability, and inspection results.
3. Fitment & Compatibility
OFFRAMP products are developed and tested based on specified models, factory structures, factory specifications, and publicly available fitment information. For products clearly listed as compatible with specific models, OFFRAMP will provide support according to the fitment information shown on the product page.
Because the motorcycle aftermarket includes a wide range of third-party parts, custom handlebars, modified forks, custom bodywork, specialty wheels, aftermarket brackets, and other non-factory combinations, OFFRAMP does not guarantee compatibility with all aftermarket, third-party, or modified components unless such compatibility is clearly stated on the product page.
Before purchasing, please carefully check the model year, mounting location, dimensions, fitment notes, and product details. If your motorcycle has been heavily modified, we recommend contacting OFFRAMP customer support or consulting a professional technician before placing your order.
4. What Is Not Covered
The OFFRAMP limited warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by improper installation, incorrect installation, or failure to follow installation instructions;
- Damage caused by abuse, misuse, crashes, impacts, accidents, overloading, or abnormal riding conditions;
- Damage caused by cutting, welding, drilling, grinding, painting, modifying, reworking, or altering the original product structure;
- Damage caused by unauthorized repair, disassembly, service, or third-party handling;
- Issues caused by use with incompatible third-party parts, non-factory parts, or modified components;
- Cosmetic changes caused by normal wear, aging, improper cleaning, poor maintenance, or environmental exposure;
- Fitment issues caused by selecting the wrong model, year, specification, or mounting position;
- Products without valid proof of purchase or products whose purchase channel cannot be verified;
- Products purchased through unauthorized third-party platforms, secondhand marketplaces, private sellers, or non-authorized sellers.
5. Finishes & Cosmetic Appearance
Anodizing, plating, chrome, paint, polishing, coating, custom paintwork, and other fine surface finishes are generally not considered structural warranty items.
Sunlight, UV exposure, rain, humidity, salt, cleaning chemicals, road debris, brake dust, heat, and long-term exposure to the elements may cause fading, discoloration, oxidation, loss of shine, yellowing, purpling, rust, fine scratches, or other cosmetic changes over time. These conditions are typically considered normal wear and environmental effects, not defects in materials or workmanship.
Anodized products may change color over time due to sun exposure, use, and environmental conditions. Unless otherwise stated on the product page, any guarantee related to color consistency, color retention, or cosmetic appearance will not exceed 1 year from the original date of purchase.
Discoloration, rust, heat marks, oxidation, or cosmetic surface changes on exhaust-related products, high-heat-area components, exposed metal parts, or products used in wet, salty, or humid environments are not covered under warranty.
6. Special-Use Products
If a product is marked as Race Use Only, Competition Use, Show Use, Off-Road Use, or any other special-use designation, it must be used only for the purpose stated.
Parts used for racing, track use, competition, high-stress testing, extreme riding, or non-standard road conditions are exposed to forces and wear far beyond normal street use. Warranty eligibility for these products will be determined by OFFRAMP based on the product condition, usage environment, and inspection results.
Damage, failure, or fitment issues caused by using a special-use product outside its stated purpose are not covered under warranty.
7. Unauthorized Purchase Channels
Products purchased through eBay, Amazon, secondhand marketplaces, private sellers, unauthorized dealers, or other third-party channels not recognized by OFFRAMP are generally not eligible for direct OFFRAMP warranty coverage.
Those platforms or sellers may offer their own buyer protection or after-sales policies, but those policies are not the same as OFFRAMP’s official warranty.
To ensure full and valid warranty eligibility, we recommend purchasing directly from the OFFRAMP official website, an authorized OFFRAMP dealer, or an OFFRAMP-approved sales channel.
8. How to File a Warranty Claim
If you believe your product has an issue that may be covered under warranty, stop using the product immediately and contact the OFFRAMP customer support team.
Please prepare the following information when submitting a warranty claim:
- Order number, invoice, receipt, or other valid proof of purchase;
- Purchase date;
- Product name, model, or SKU;
- Motorcycle make, model, year, and relevant modification details;
- Clear photos or videos of the product;
- A detailed description of the issue;
- Installation method and information about the installer or shop, if applicable;
- Shipping address, phone number, and contact email.
Please describe the issue as clearly as possible. Simple statements such as “broken,” “damaged,” or “defective” are usually not enough to determine the cause and may delay the review process.
9. RMA Authorization
Any product that needs to be returned for inspection, repair, replacement, or further handling must first receive an RMA number from OFFRAMP. RMA stands for Return Merchandise Authorization.
Products returned without prior authorization may be refused, returned to the sender, or left unprocessed. OFFRAMP is not responsible for unauthorized returns, shipping damage, lost packages, or additional costs related to unauthorized shipments.
Once an RMA number has been issued, please follow the return instructions provided by OFFRAMP. The return package should include:
- RMA number;
- Order number or invoice copy;
- Complete product components;
- Detailed issue description;
- Contact information and return address.
Unless otherwise stated in writing by OFFRAMP, an RMA authorization is typically valid for 30 days from the date it is issued. Expired RMA authorizations may require a new review and approval.
10. Inspection & Resolution
Once the product is returned, the OFFRAMP technical team will inspect and evaluate the product to determine whether the issue falls within warranty coverage.
If the issue is confirmed to be a defect in materials or workmanship, OFFRAMP will provide repair, replacement, or another reasonable solution based on the actual situation.
If the inspection shows that the issue is not covered under warranty, such as improper installation, misuse, modification, accident damage, normal wear, natural cosmetic changes, or other customer-related factors, OFFRAMP may deny the warranty claim and return the product to the customer. Any related shipping costs, duties, taxes, or other fees may be the customer’s responsibility.
Customers are responsible for properly packaging returned products. Products damaged during return shipping due to poor packaging may not qualify for warranty service, return, or exchange.
11. Shipping, Labor & Other Costs
The OFFRAMP limited warranty applies only to the eligible product itself.
OFFRAMP is not responsible for:
- Product removal costs;
- Reinstallation costs;
- Labor fees charged by repair shops, custom shops, installers, or dealers;
- Vehicle downtime, delays, or loss of business;
- Costs related to customer-purchased replacement parts;
- Indirect losses related to a warranty claim;
- Any third-party costs not approved in advance by OFFRAMP.
For international orders, handling may vary depending on shipping costs, customs duties, taxes, clearance requirements, regional restrictions, product category, and the customer’s location.
12. Dealers & Distributors
Authorized OFFRAMP dealers, distributors, installation shops, and third-party sales representatives are not authorized to make final warranty decisions on behalf of OFFRAMP. They may not promise warranty coverage, compensation, refunds, or replacements beyond OFFRAMP’s official policy.
All warranty claims must be reviewed and confirmed through OFFRAMP’s official or authorized technical review process.
OFFRAMP is not responsible for shipping costs, return costs, storage fees, or reshipment fees caused by refused packages from dealers or customers. Refused shipments may be subject to restocking or handling fees.
13. Returns vs. Warranty Claims
A warranty claim is not the same as a standard return.
A standard return generally applies when a product is unused, uninstalled, undamaged, complete with packaging and accessories, and submitted within the eligible return window.
A warranty return applies when the customer believes the product has a defect in materials or workmanship and OFFRAMP must inspect the product to confirm the issue.
Whether it is a standard return or a warranty-related return, prior authorization from OFFRAMP is required. Unauthorized returns may be refused.
14. Final Determination
OFFRAMP reserves the right to review, inspect, evaluate, and make the final decision on all warranty claims.
OFFRAMP will determine warranty eligibility based on the product condition, usage, purchase channel, installation method, cause of damage, inspection results, and supporting evidence. OFFRAMP may choose to repair, replace, deny warranty coverage, or provide another reasonable resolution.
Except where required by law, OFFRAMP is not liable for indirect damages, incidental damages, labor costs, vehicle downtime, or any additional compensation beyond the terms of this Warranty Policy.
