Risers control handlebar height, rider reach, and cockpit feel. Before choosing risers for a Harley-Davidson build, check the rise height, clamp diameter, mounting bolt size, mounting spacing, pullback, and cable clearance.

Windshields and fairings affect wind protection, rider comfort, helmet buffeting, visibility, and the overall front-end style of a Harley-Davidson build. Key measurements include windshield height, windshield width, fairing width, headlight opening, mounting hole spacing, bracket position, fork clearance, handlebar clearance, and rider eye-line height.

Wheel size is normally shown as diameter × rim width. For Harley-Davidson wheel fitment, confirm front or rear position, rim width, axle size, bearing size, brake rotor pattern, pulley pattern, ABS compatibility, and tire clearance.

Motorcycle tire size must match wheel diameter, rim width, load rating, speed rating, and riding purpose. Harley tires may use metric sizing, alpha sizing, bias-ply, belted, or radial construction depending on the model and year.

Grip and throttle tube fitment depends on handlebar diameter and throttle type. Most Harley-style grips are built around 1-inch handlebars, but cable throttle and throttle-by-wire systems require different throttle tube designs.

Axle and bearing sizes are critical for wheel fitment. When changing wheels, confirm axle diameter, bearing inner diameter, hub width, spacer setup, ABS bearing type, and front or rear position.
