Fully Automatic OFFRAMP OM44 Magneto Ignition System for Harley M8 Engines

The OFFRAMP OM44 Magneto is specifically engineered for Harley Milwaukee-Eight (M8) engines, offering two ignition configurations to suit different riding styles and performance priorities.

Impulse Coupling Version
Featuring a reinforced impulse coupling mechanism, this configuration is ideal for kick-start applications and high-compression engines, improving starting tolerance and significantly reducing kick-back during startup for smoother, more controlled starts.

No Impulse Version
Designed with a simplified internal structure, this version is intended for applications where high-RPM performance and mechanical simplicity are the primary focus.

Precision-manufactured by OFFRAMP, this high-output Magneto ignition system for Harley M8 engines eliminates the need for extensive wiring and electronic components, restoring a cleaner, more reliable, and easier-to-service engine layout.
The system operates independently of the motorcycle’s 12-volt electrical system, preserving the core advantages of a true Magneto ignition.

The OM44 Magneto features a 5-axis CNC-machined solid aluminum cam cover, finished with a mirror-grade polish. It installs as a direct bolt-on replacement for the OEM cam cover, enhancing both mechanical performance and custom appearance.

• Reinforced impulse coupling design compatible with both kick-start and electric-start applications

In addition to full compatibility with Harley M8 engine platforms, the OM44 Magneto also supports S&S G and E carburetors (for racing use only).
